Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-13 · Effective: on publication

These terms are the agreement between you and Juan David Cruz Angel, who operates Tigris Zone ("we", "us"). They cover the Tigris Zone website and the Tigris Zone Chrome extension. When you create an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Tigris Zone.

1. Tigris Zone is in beta

Tigris Zone is in public beta. It works, and we treat your data seriously, but features can change, move between Free and Premium, or be removed, and the service can have outages. We will tell you before we remove a feature you paid for (see §6). Your feedback shapes what we build next.

2. Your account

  • Tigris Zone is only for people 18 or older. You confirm your age when you create an account, and an account that belongs to someone under 18 is closed.
  • Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • One person per account. Do not create accounts to get around a block, a suspension, or a limit.
  • Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has accessed your account.

3. Your content

What you put into Tigris Zone stays yours: sessions, tasks, notes, files, messages, and profile.

You give us permission to store and process your content to provide Tigris Zone, and to show it through the sharing features you choose, as described in the Privacy Policy. This permission is limited to those purposes. It ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, including files, playlist links, avatars, and desk backgrounds.

4. Acceptable use

Tigris Zone has people in it: friends, direct messages, Teams, public profiles, and the Arena. Do not use them to:

  • Harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate anyone, or keep contacting someone who has made clear they do not want it.
  • Send unsolicited solicitation: advertising, sales pitches, referral links, crypto or investment offers, or recruitment into anything.
  • Post hateful, sexually explicit, or violent content, or anything involving minors in a sexual way.
  • Impersonate a person or organization, or misrepresent who you are.
  • Share someone else's private information without their permission.
  • Upload malware, or try to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, or access data that is not yours.
  • Inflate your study time or Arena standing with scripts or automation.
  • Break the law, or help someone else break it.

You can block and report people. Blocking someone ends the friendship, deletes your direct messages with them, and stops them from contacting you. Reports reach us directly, and we read every one.

We can remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend or close accounts that do, depending on how serious it is. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why, and you can reply to [email protected] if you think we got it wrong.

5. Premium

Tigris Zone has a free tier and a paid tier, Premium. Premium is a paid service: it unlocks the features listed as available on the pricing page and at checkout when you buy. Anything marked "soon" is not part of the purchase.

  • Payments are handled by Polar, our merchant of record. Polar is the seller on your invoice, charges your payment method, and handles sales tax and VAT. Polar's own terms also apply to the checkout.
  • Prices are shown in US dollars. Checkout shows any tax for where you are, and the total, before you pay.
  • Monthly and annual plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
  • Cancel anytime from Settings, which opens the Polar customer portal. You keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again.
  • Lifetime means one payment for Premium for as long as Tigris Zone operates. It is not tied to your lifetime or ours. If Tigris Zone shuts down, lifetime access ends with the service. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a shutdown.
  • Price changes never affect a period you already paid for. For a renewing plan, we tell you before the new price applies, and you can cancel before then.
  • Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

6. Changes to the service

We can add, change, or remove features. If we remove a Premium feature in a way that meaningfully reduces what you paid for, we will tell you in advance. If you are on a renewing plan, you can cancel and ask for a refund of the unused part of the current period. If you bought lifetime, you can ask for a refund of the unused part counted as if lifetime lasted 24 months: the amount you paid, times the full months left of those 24, divided by 24, and nothing once 24 months have passed. Premium ends when the refund is paid.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. It is locked immediately and permanently erased after 30 days, as described in the Privacy Policy. A subscription stops renewing when you ask for deletion, and you are not charged again. Deleting the account does not by itself refund a payment; the Refund Policy still applies.

We can suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or when the law requires it. If we close a paid account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we refund the unused part of the current subscription period, or, for lifetime, the unused part of 24 months counted the same way as in §6.

8. Third-party services

Tigris Zone can play YouTube and SoundCloud content, lets you sign in with Google or Discord, and links to our Discord community. Those services are run by other companies under their own terms. We are not responsible for their content or availability.

9. Disclaimers

Tigris Zone is provided "as is" and "as available", especially while it is in beta. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it fits a particular purpose. Tigris Zone measures effort; it does not guarantee results.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under the law of the country where you live, including Colombian Law 1480 of 2011 (the Consumer Statute).

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost opportunities. Our total liability for any claim about Tigris Zone is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50.

This section does not limit liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protections of the law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there. In Colombia, you can also go to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio.

Before going to court, you can write to us at [email protected]. Most problems are solved faster that way, but it is your choice.

12. Changes to these terms

This version takes effect on the date it is published, and you accept it before you keep using your account. After that, if we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before the change takes effect, and we ask you to accept the new version before you keep using your account. If you do not agree, you can delete your account, and cancel any subscription, before then.
